VESTA Features

  • VESTAcard is a scan card system utilized by agencies to collect data by simply having a client swipe their card.  VESTAcard is used at agencies for a wide range of information gathering including monitoring clients coming and going in the building; counting meals served, groups attended and medicine taken; and for point-in-time street counts.
  • Intake and exit Wizards guide users through screens designed to capture required information - making data entry easy and providing data quality levels that exceed national averages.
  • Customizable data fields enable all programs to collect data that is particularly useful to their specific program.
  • VESTAdocup enables programs to scan and store documents within a client record in VESTA.
  • Partnership Agreements enable multiple programs at different agencies to share appropriate information pending client consent.  For example, information is shared between all of the family shelters, HPRP prevention programs share client records, and EFSP funds provided for rent and utilities can be seen at any emergency assistance center.
  • A confidentiality protocols built into VESTA include password/PIN protection, digital certificates, client consent, client and user data security levels, and other system security features.
  • Pre-programmed reports that correspond to current government mandates, funding requirements, and agency needs enable "press print" report generation from VESTA.  HUD Annual Performance Reports and United Way Demographic and Outcome reports are up-to-date and programmed in.
  • A "back-office" system that allows multiple prevention agencies to request payments through one central bookkeeper.
  • A specialized report generation tool FLEXO  enables trained users to generate their own custom reports in VESTA.
  • A "bed finder" that enables a centralized access system to reserve a specific bed within an emergency shelter and transfer the screening information to that agency for intake.
  • VESTA fields are configured for Runaway and Homeless Youth programs to correspond with NeoRHYMIS.
  • Custom fields are designed for street outreach programs to support outreach reporting as required by HUD, RHYMIS and PATH.
